Your responsibilities at C&A

  • Consultant for Managers up to Director and Head of level in all personnel-related and legal matters, especially guiding them through performance and team building related topics 
  • Support for employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle 
  • Interface with other HR departments (including HR Shared Services, Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development) 
  • Recruitment of national and international specialists and managers, participation in the 2nd interview after pre-selection by the recruiting team 
  • Ensuring talent management and succession planning in the company 
  • Contact person for the works council, support in collective bargaining issues 
  • Advice and support in organizational changes 
  • Support in the introduction of new HR guidelines and tools

What we expect of you

  • At least 3 years' experience in a comparable position, ideally in an international company.
  • Sound knowledge of Belgium labor law and experience in working with works councils.
  • Empathic personality with strong communication skills and the ability to change perspectives
  • An independent and solution-oriented approach to work and a high level of advisory skills 
  • Ability to build effective and cooperative relationships at all levels
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English
