We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic designer to join our Childrenswear team. This role focuses on design for our boys essentials team across both night and underwear.  


Your responsibilities at C&A

  • Researching current and future trends for your area
  • Designing graphic placement print artwork & embellishment development
  • Creating seamless pattern repeats
  • Creating License character designs and working closely with our License partners
  • Working closely with the design manager focusing on and ensuring a commercial outcome
  • Producing tech packs with detailed design specifications to issue to factories for sampling

What we need from you

  • A college degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Graphics or equivalent
  • Previous Apparel Graphics experience in a similar position and experience in working together with License partners
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS (Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • A good understanding of graphics, embellishment, fabrics and print technologies, License design experience is also required
  • Any experience of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Ability to liaise with buyers and factories confidently
