As Category Buyer, you will have an overall responsibility for the Indirect goods & services category portfolio for the Benelux area. You will actively contribute to the development of the European Indirect Procurement (IP) strategy by developing internal and external business partnerships, negotiating commercial agreements with suppliers, executing category strategies and understanding supplier capabilities.

The job:

• Execute European Indirect Procurement initiatives on time and ensure value realization at the market/country level.
• Drive adoption of procurement policies and procedures to meet Indirect Procurement KPI targets for the assigned category portfolio.
• Implement cost reduction programs locally or centrally to achieve significant savings.
• Manage local P2P processes, contract compliance, and supplier selection in line with approval and policy standards.
• Collaborate with the European Indirect Procurement Team and local business partners to identify and capture savings opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with internal business leaders and vendors to align procurement efforts with business objectives and manage supplier performance.

What you bring:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of business experience in indirect procurement, preferably within fashion retail industry or similar retail or B2C, FMCG
• Minimum 3 years of category buying experience (Indirect Goods & Services)
• Experience in and demonstrated capability of managing commercial terms & conditions in at least 3 categories of indirect procurement
• Hands-on experience with eProcurement tools, preferably SAP Ariba / S/4 Hana. Good command of MS Office applications, in particular MS Excel
• Proven track record of: Indirect spot buying, executing strategic programs and change management in a multinational, dynamic business environment
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch and French is an advantage
