The traineeship starts in March 2021 and has a duration of approx. 2 years consisting of different exciting assignments within Supply Chain Management.

Your responsibilities at C&A

  • You will get a comprehensive introduction into our current supply chain processes as well as the opportunity to work on the future of C&A’s supply chain management
  • You will execute business process development, management and analysis in the domain of Omnichannel Selling
  • You will support IT system implementations as facilitator (in-between Business and IT) including preparing the organisation and supporting change management
  • As part of a major company-wide transformation project you will build efficient collaboration with operational project stakeholders in Business and IT
  • You will cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the delivery of change process or system implementation in time, cost and quality

What we expect of you

  • University degree (Master preferred) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional experience
  • First hands-on experience as intern or working student which provides you with an understanding of retail supply chains, market developments, competition and innovation, preferably in the fashion/apparel industry
  • General interest in IT (ERP systems, SAP software) and analytical skills to understand user needs as well as complex processes or process chains allowing you to understand the impact of change on the systems interdependencies
  • Presentation skills to describe processes and systems, being able to translate complex into business terminology as well as good communication skills
  • Proactivity and a can-do attitude
  • Fluency in English and German language skills is a must, additional languages of advantage
