The Project Manager (m/f/d), acts as the link between internal stakeholders and external suppliers on a project level, liaising between the various teams leading the technical engineering & implementation during developments. tracking and co-ordinating all timelines, major milestones, specifications and standards. 


Your responsibilities at C&A 

  • Manage development projects within the evolving store concept.  
  • Standardizing the design & development process and introducing economies of scale and repetition where applicable.  
  • Track and manage the Design Development processes, to bring concept design ideas to rollout out ready fixtures/projects, issuing development programm tracker to internal stakeholders. 
  • Working with the various departments (VM, Marketing, Operations, local Construction Teams, IT etc) from conception through to prototype, tendering and documenting. 
  • Manage the update of all concept documentation, assuring these are aligned with concept owner and communicated regularly. 
  • Manage the development of the external partners and be the key business partner for technical related items. 
  • Flag potential risks in the consultant and manufacturing supply chain, in collaboration with the team and help develop solutions

What we expect from you 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in store design & project management (specifically fashion & lifestyle retailers), strong Retail Experience understanding all levers of the sales generation model and how a world class concept can support those and maximize sales while keeping concept & brand integrity 
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the leadership of Design & Development process and documentation. Bringing retail concepts from initial design creation through, prototyping and on to manufacture rollout  
  • Strong experience in the management of 3rd party Design, Build and Manufacturing consultants 
  • Experienced in Furniture design, material knowledge & detailing skills  
  • Expert knowledge of AutoCAD. Proficiency of Adobe suite, 3D design, Microsoft Office & rendering is an advantage 
  • Self-organisation, time management and a structured and responsible way of working 
  • Social competence, flexibility, reliability and high sense of confidentiality 
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English, additional European language is an advantage
