Your responsibilities at C&A 

  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of Media Channel Roles and ROI (return on investment) in delivering C&A's Branding & Performance objectives in collaboration with consumer insights 
  • Development of a 360 media strategy for the Digital & Consumer division within C&A while synthesizing both external and internal consumer and media insights 
  • Define the Consumer Targeting strategy for Media Channels in collaboration with Channel managers, Agency partners and the Division to enable a clear execution of the media bookings and to reach set objectives
  • Align Campaign Media Objectives with the senior management to ensure a common view. Centrally plan a 1st draft Media Plan together with Media Agency partners and the Manager Media Strategy as well as planning for review and approval with the senior management
  • Proactively manage the Media booking process with agencies so that the required level of improvements in Media efficiency can be achived whilst respecting required and pre-defined flexibility of budgets 
  • Proactive management of the digital media budgets across campaigns, channels and countries in an agile way together with the channel managers and agencies to optimise ROI 
  • Enable a continuous learning through collaborations with agencies and analytics on the effectiveness and efficiency of our media investments while repeating and building on successes to achieve positive input into the planning of future calendar activities from a media perspective
  • Lead, coach and develop the team in order to ensure high performance, development and success

 

What we expect of you

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Min. 3-5 years of experience working at a Media Agency or in a professional Media function in a company with significant omnichannel media invests, including experience from consulting both within media strategy and media planning
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of media landscapes as well as digital and classic media channels from a branding and performance perspective
  • Expert in omnichannel media planning: classic and digital channels, brand and performance (across several markets)
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience as a channel manager within an agency/company or min. 3 years as media planner to enable a depth of understanding in collaborating with channel managers at C&A
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation and communicating effectively from a cross functional perspective
  • Fluent in English and preferably advanced German language skills
