Your responsibilities at C&A

  • Proactively lead, own and take responsibility for all quality related enquiries, issues  and solutions for all respective business units
  • Represent QAD at cross-functional team meetings  and ensure that QAD related E2E processes and meetings are covered
  • Two way reporting between the quality team and the allocated division to ensure new information, initiatives or requirements are delivered/shared
  • Evaluate the quality training needs of the business units and manage the delivery of such events accordingly
  • Conduct QAD production team appraisals in line with HR requirements and identify talent gaps or opportunities 
  • Responsible for the application, training and management of all Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the respective hub region of operation
  • Responsible for delivering on key projects and work-streams related to strategic business development directives and cost saving initiatives
  • Communicate with the Global Head of QAD/RQM/SPM and piers locally and within all other regions
  • Communicate with 3rd parties to ensure a good collaboration and follow up corrective action in case of issues
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager EU during new product development stage to conduct product risk assessments related to garment complexity and PU capability, recommending solutions prior to the product’s order placement and manufacture
  • Observe and analyse competitor environment from a quality perspective, customer insights and historical data to proactively develop market intelligence relating to the needs of the C&A quality requirements


What we expect of you

  • Over 5 years consecutive experience in a retail or supply chain quality function, preferably in clothing retail (fashion/lifestyle)
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in textiles, clothing, or quality, or applicable industry experience in quality management
  • Experienced and having a high-level knowledge of Product Safety, Production Management, QMS and Manufacturing process is required
  • Commercial awareness of industry standard quality levels and customer expectations
  • Familiar with laboratory test requirements and testing procedures, European market legislations and regulations
  • Capable of implementing and driving strategies forward to completion through change management, personal and staff development
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good self-organization, time management and work structuring skills to deliver to deadlines
