Our Production and Quality teams are accountable for the implementation and adaptation of uniform quality processes to meet business deliverables whilst maintaining the C&A brand through our quality and safety standards. This role is crucial for maintaining competitive market positioning and delivering consistent, high-quality products to C&A customers. Please note, this is not a Quality Control/Inspection role, but a role committed to identifying and resolving quality issues within our supply network based on data and feedback.

Your responsibilities

  • Quality Management: Proactively manage all quality-related inquiries, issues, and solutions within the business unit.

  • Reporting and Communication: Follow up on inspection reports and ensure communication between the quality team and the commercial team on-site.

  • Representation in Team: Participate in cross-functional meetings and represent the quality team to ensure adherence to quality and business strategies.

  • Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for employees and support the in-house laboratory as well as the inspectors.

  • Market Analysis and Supplier Engagement: Observe the competitive landscape from a quality perspective and actively engage suppliers in meetings.

What you bring

We would be keen to speak to those with a blend of the following skills and capabilities: 

 

 

  • Administrative and Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail, effective time management, and the capacity to prioritize tasks. 
  • Product Quality Expertise: Solid background or education in product quality, with knowledge of fabrics, garments, accessories, or footwear, and familiarity with testing processes. 
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities, and strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and independent work in fast-paced settings. 
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to make customer-focused decisions. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with product development tools like PLM and data reporting tools such as Pivot88 
  • Language: This role will require a good command of English and German.
