As an Indirect Procurement Lead you play a significant role in the further professionalisation of the department. In this strategic role, you will be leading and coaching a team of Category Managers and Buyers. Together with the  IP (Indirect Procurement) leadership you will create and optimize an operating model, get a governance structure in place, implement a new procurement system and more.


Your responsibilities at C&A


  • Developing and implementing European Category Strategy with clear objectives on cost and cash efficiencies in partnership with the Marketing organization
  • Establishing a comprehensive roadmap of sourcing initiatives to shape the Marketing cost structure
  • Developing the Marketing Procurement KPI Dashboard with the methodology behind in collaboration with Marketing function and Finance Reporting.
  • Introduce contemporary sourcing techniques and solutions for Marketing categories including options like e-sourcing, digital collaborative platforms
  • Develop Category Spend Tree Visibility and Procurement Analytics to support sourcing strategies and tactics
  • Introduce standard high-end Contract templates with the strategic partners (i.e. Master Head of Agreements, General Terms and Conditions, etc)
  • Proactively approach the business with new ideas/approaches to get a stronger alignment and a bigger sit at the table with the internal partners
  • Establish team work, performance management and people development practices with direct reports


What we expect of you


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing procurement with real time examples of Strategic Sourcing Initiatives and Impact created
  • Advance analytical skills
  • Advance negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage complex data and drive insights
  • Strong Communication and Presentation skills
  • People leadership experience in preferable
  • Fluent English, ideally good command of German
