This is an opportunity to join one of Europe's most widely recognised and much loved fashion retailers, currently going through a digital transformation that's aimed at placing our consumers at the heart of everything we do.

 

This role will offer you the opportunity to take on a lead role, overseeing and optimising the organisations overall media strategic framework, both online and offline. You will work very closely with our Head of Marketing, Range Product teams and country organisations, where you will focus on shaping and executing our advertising strategies across various platforms.

You will be supported by a fantastic marketing team of overall circa 40+ people and will co-manage a large scaled marketing budget.

 

Driving successful paid media campaigns, directly impacting C&A's market positioning and marketing effectiveness, managing budgets effectively, and building and leading a high-performing team will be your primary day to day goal.

 

Your responsibilities

 

 

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive media mix strategies (media mix modeling) aligned with overall marketing and business objectives. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms and technologies to ensure a cutting-edge approach.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all paid media campaigns, both online and offline. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and present regular data-driven reports on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize campaign performance.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage and allocate budgets effectively to maximize ROI, ensuring campaigns are delivered within financial parameters. Conduct regular budget reviews and adjustments based on performance metrics and business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of paid media professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, creative, and sales, to ensure integrated and cohesive campaigns. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to enhance campaign performance and stay ahead of industry trends.

What you bring

 

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in paid media management, media mix (traditional & digital media)
  • Experience working within a retail environment (ideally fashion / apparel, lifestyle, consumer goods) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to decision-making
  • Strong leadership and team management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative growth mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Business fluent in English (both oral and written)
