The Business Process Specialist for “Planning process solutions” plays a crucial role in developing and supporting the usage of our planning solutions to drive operational excellence.
You will work closely with Sourcing, Planning, Range/Buying, and the Tech team to identify process simplifications and design effective, scalable, and optimized planning solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Maximize the use of planning solutions to drive simplification and achieve process excellence, gaining a competitive advantage.
- Stay informed about market developments and identify how these can support or streamline our merchandise planning processes.
- Translate business requirements into simplified workflows, focusing on areas such as range, product planning, and operations within the supply chain.
- Provide timely first- and second-level support for planning tools to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure the consistent integration of planning processes across the entire supply chain.
- Develop training materials, organize, and conduct training sessions to help business professionals maximize their use of planning tools.
- Perform detailed system integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
What you bring
- University degree in Business Administration or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business operations, process management, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementations, or consulting.
- Experience with market-leading planning tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Excel, including the ability to use advanced functions like charts, tables, calculations, and automation.
- Proficiency in Excel features such as complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA.
- Ability to work with Excel spreadsheets on SharePoint and OneDrive locations.
- Experience with process improvements and a strong inclination toward simplification.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills combined with a solution-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
