Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Retail Experience is the innovation department within C&A that drives the future of the omni channel experience within our brick & mortar stores. Innovation projects are developed as part of our concept store approach, tested, adapted and once proven successful scaled towards the C&A fleet. Innovation projects range from soft skill focused service excellence programs to inventing new in-store (omni channel) spatial experiences for our customer.

Your responsibilities at C&A

• Managing with a cross-functional, partially virtual team the overall innovation pipeline from idea pool to scale
• Guidance in definition of project concept, scope and dependencies
• Facilitation & support the analytical and conceptual work the test/learn/adapt approach
• Facilitating cross-functional workshops for efficient problem solving and escalation
• Driving the preparation of communication and representation material for Retail Experience
• Driving selected strategic projects as project manager

What we expect from you

• Min. bachelor degree and dedicated work experience of +/- 5 years in the area of business development – retail/consultancy for retail preferred - and/or a master’s degree
• Demonstrate passion & self-motivation for developing solutions for multi-facetted challenges
• Demonstrated efficient decision making and problem-solving skills combined with visual facilitation techniques
• Fact driven and proven excellent analytical skills combined with ability to translate analysis into tangible action points & learnings
• Strong team player capabilities
• Ability to cope under pressure and remain organized and calm in a dynamic environment
• Excellent oral and written communication as well as presentation skills in English and at least one other European language – German preferred
