We like to tread unusual paths, and we look forward to hearing your ideas, concepts and proposals. The Application Manager Customer Data Platform (CDP) is the application owner of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) of C&A Europe. You are responsible for improving and optimizing all features, interfaces, workflows of and processes of the newly established Customer Data Platform as well as requesting/requiring new features, interfaces, workflows and processes for all C&A online shops and omnichannel use cases.


Your responsibilities at C&A​​​​​  

  • Detailed conception and specification of requirements for all CDP related features and interfaces in collaboration with business users (e.g. CRM, Analytics, Performance Marketing etc.), IT partners and other relevant stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain all inbound and outbound interfaces to related applications
  • Monitoring of applications and interfaces including Second Level Support for incident and problem management
  • Ensuring that proposed and existing requirements are aligned with organizational goals and overall business strategy
  • Accompany software releases into production and support the application development in design and architecture of applications
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend technologies that will increase sales, cost effectiveness and system flexibility
  • Review, analyse and evaluate new functionalities and features and processes

What we expect of you​​​​​  

  • Advanced knowledge in configuration, usage and maintenance of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs)
  • Advanced skills in customer data management and understanding of data modelling
  • Sound understanding of customer data related business processes (CRM, direct marketing, performance marketing, analytics, website personalization etc.)
  • Ideally knowledge of retail related segmentation and customer data models (e.g. Customer Lifetime Value, Lifecycle, Product Affinities etc.)
  • Very good analytical, organizational and project management skills; solution oriented
  • Good communication skills towards all stakeholders; encouraging, motivating and structured
  • Fluency in German and English
